It's been awhile since I've been stamping...so please forgive my short post. Many things have been keeping me busy, but hope to get some posts up here now and again. I made this card for the PTI Make It Monday challenge. The great team over there posts a challenge every Monday with a tutorial video. This weeks was using embossing. I took th
e technique and went a different way with it and did an emboss resis
t technique. Here is my card....
To create the emboss resist I stamped the Text Boxed image in Versamark Ink on PTI White cardstock and then embossed with clear embossing powder. After the embossing had cooled for a few minutes I brayered over the image first with Marigold Morning and then with Daffodil Delight. I then colored the leaves with three colors of copics and the stems with a Ultra Fine Tip Dark Brown sharpie. The ric rac was created with the small ric rac die from PTI and the buttons are also PTI. Small Ric Rac die, bakers twine and vintage buttons Papertrey Ink, Distressing tool and punch SU.

This is so cute! I love the three flowers...they remind me of three flowers in a window box, so cute :) The button centers and rick rack definitely make the card. Such an awesome job :)
